General Information
Muscle specific tyrosine kinase (MuSK) is a surface membrane enzyme that is essential in aggregating Acetylcholine receptor during the development of the neuromuscular junction. Antibodies to MuSK are a second-line test for patients with suspected Myasthenia Gravis when acetylcholine receptor antibodies are negative and clinical suspicion remains high.
